Couple problems with this, the first being you either have zero security features enabled on your router, a simple password, AND your management portal exposed to the open internet - OR - you're not being put under a DOS attack at all and your wifi is giving out.

If you're being DDOSed then you're not getting on the internet at all until the attack stops, if you can still access the internet on other devices then you're not being DDOSed.

Okay thanks, but i'm 100% getting ddossed because first he spammed my IP and then said "bye internet"

Probably a script kiddie running LOIC for kicks. Not really much you can do about it unless you have a beefy enough router to block packets without giving up. What I don't know is how someone would find an IP over Minecraft, since your IP is only available to the server.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Admins and mods(depending) can, with the Essentials mod installed on the server, see a players IP address afaik. The server OP can also use a command (i forget which) to pull a players IP if needed (or if they are jerks) OR the server admin has the Essentials mod permissions configured bad and everyone can use the /whois command.

That could be it, but I seriously doubt a server with 500 concurrent players is configured that poorly. Or at least configured that poorly for long. Maybe a mod is going on a power trip, who knows.

Yah, that's what I suspect as well. Either way I would look for a better server in the meantime.
