Hi everyone,

There is a weird flickering issue with my pc that flashes horizontally very quickly.

It doesn't always happen but when it does, it flickers like crazy.

Here is a video of it, anyone know whats up with that?

A couple of things do you have the latest drivers

Do you have the latest firmware/vbios for your GPU

Do you have any OC profile on your memory or the card it self

What cable are you using for display output

How old is that cable

I have the same issue, or at lease similar symptoms when using an r7 250 on a miniserver i have. I put an i5 there in place of the gpu-less xeon and does not appear to do it. Also put a gt210, and it does not happen then either, or i did not catch it in either case. I am hoping it is the Radeon drivers, because it is not the cable. Or it might be the vram acting out on a dying card.

Driver is updated to the latest version (445.87)

Bios is also the latest

I used to overclock my GPU but I stopped doing that recently, so it is in factory spec now

I use the supplied display port cable from my Samsung C27HG monitor, it is just a few months old

I will try to get a new cable to see if it fixes the problem, also, are display port cables prone to failure?

Does your flickering appears all the time or just intermittently?
