Nvidia control panel HD vs PC?

I found this weird setting in the nvidia control panel that I don't quite get when I go to change resolution there are two sets of resolutions , screenshots : https://gyazo.com/d9275b0f78a3c1415c4fcbfce96e3fc5

whats the difference between these two , I can already tell I can't go to 144 hz with HD settings only up to 120 hz for sm reason , I was fine with it before I don't mind but on PC resolution I can choose 144hz,

any ideas?

Just one set lists the TV standards which are less flexible than generic "PC" ones.
