Psu? Or cpu?

So I have an old power supply HX850, in my new rig I have an i59600k and a 2070super, and it runs csgo for like 2 hours and then it black screens? However when I’m running csgo, I can hear a louder sound coming from my psu if I get kinda close to it, compared to when I play doom eternal I don’t here the noise and it’s completely silent? I think it’s my psu it’s about 5 years old at this point? Pls help

Your PSU has a 10 year warranty. Just RMA it.

And or I just ordered a new one? Is it common tho for a psu too just overheat in one game?

Depends on how many amps you draw. 

PSU you want below 45c. 

Does your PSU blow out hot air when heavily taxed?

I mean I’m really not sure it just gets louder in csgo keep in mind I bow doom out of the water,it was kinda dusty before I put it in and I did my best too clean it but there was still dust in there

Send it into warranty if you feel the PSU has an issue. That's why it has a 10 year warranty. So you don't have to buy a new PSU. 

 

Maybe @Corsair Nick can help you out, at least point you in the right direction?

Do you have any photos of the product label on the HX850 or a part number?  We had a few different versions over the years, so I would need to know which one you have.  The label will look similar to the one below:
