Custom Build Newb Mistake?

I just bought all the parts listed under the 1500 budget comp on this site https://newbcomputerbuild.com/the-best-1500-gaming-pc-build-2020/

 

I realized afer I bought the mother board that it is actually a usb-c rather than a 3.1

 

Does this effect anything with the build other than the port that I can plug accessories into?

Not sure what you mean. USB 3.1 is USB C. Also, there are plenty of USB A ports, and USB 3.0 and 2.0 headers on the motherboard.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

USB-C is a form factor. USB 3.1 is a protocol.
