Mouse is making my computer not work

Can someone help me please? My XoticPc Mortar Mouse is making my screen not respond to the mouse or the touchpad (this is a gaming laptop - System Model    ROG Strix G531GW_G531GW). Sometimes it is the screen that doesn't respond and (more often) the taskbar that doesn't respond. Sometimes it is even both that don't respond. I have tried to update drivers through device manager and it says that it is up to date. This is a problem that has popped up within the last 2-3 days. I really do like this mouse, so I would love for some help.
