Hello everyone I've come to a point of being stuck trying to figure out what is up with my pc rig for general office.

Any story cut short, I upgraded to a new hyper 212 evo for my AMD 8350 FX. all was perfect checked hw monitor for temps. was like 25c idle, thought brill. fantastic improvement from my last cooler

Anyway shut the machine down. to finish putting the case sides back on, hooked everything back up, and powered the machine on. what happened next is what's got me really annoyed.

Pc turns on, fans all run everythings running GPU etc. but no display.

so went through all the usual

cmos reset

removing all ram running it with just a single stick

another power supply. try the onboard GPUs etc

Nothing worked. so I thought.. only thing I have to hand is trying another cpu chip. so went ahead removed cooler, put this in, reset cmos. booted it up. and I got the Boot screen managed to login to bios. (so I thought yeah cpu is at fault) continued to rebuild pc and use the cpu I had for temp purposes... however booted pc again and... you guessed it no display again. So would you all think this may be the motherboard that is in fault?

if anyone would shed any previous experiences or similar issues. would be kindly appreciated

kind regards

Andrew
