Hello Tech Tips,

I build a new computer, and after using it for a few days the computer crashed. My screen froze, and my headphones made a grinding/buzzing noise. I was running Destiny 2.

Here is what I have tried so far:

I connected the monitor to my laptop, and the monitor worked.

I have unplugged all of the nonessential stuff, the SSD, and the connectors for the case, and just had the motherboard, the CPU, the GPU, and the ram and the necessary power cables connected. I shorted the two pins on the motherboard, and the fans spun, but still no signal.

I've removed the CMOS battery and put it back. No signal.

I took out the memory and GPU and put them back in, to the same result.

I replaced the motherboard

I replaced the graphics card

Here are my specs:

Windows 10 Home 64 Bit

AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU

Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT GPU

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB RAM, 1 stick

ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 micro atx motherboard

Corsair CX Series 550 Watt Power Supply
