PC Randomly Freezing

Just recently, I have encountered the problem in which my computer randomly freezes during use. These freezes last from a few seconds, to minutes. Games are unplayable. Applications also take a lot longer than normal to load up. No irregular activity in task manager. Any help?

 

Specs:

3 year old pc

I5-8400

8 gb ram

1070

128 gb ssd, 1 tb hard drive.

~Am I the only who thinks that Dwayne Johnson looks like the rock? o.O
