Cpu stress test from 2010

Hey guys , sorry if this is not the correct place to post this but whatever. 

My friend has a pc from 2010-11 and i have some spare fans from an old build around the same age, and i want to run a benchmark to see the thermals of the components before and after the fans .Are the current benchmark tools viable for an old build, do you have a suggestion of such a tool?

Do i need to find an older version of a specific tool.
