skimped way too much on the PSU and CPU, while you went all out on case and motherboard.

Change it to something more like this:

Spoiler

You still get a nice NZXT case, and you gain a much faster CPU. I also upgraded the GPU but you could keep the 590 for your budget. The PSU is much better, and the motherboard is still plenty decent for a nice upgrade path.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

I think I'm gonna keep the power supply cause my build will only take a little over 400 watts at

Max and i don't really plan on over clocking but yeah ur prob right about the CPU.

I don't think skimping the CPU is a good idea regardless of the power draw.

I agree but with his build the stock fans on the nzxt are all that is needed.  The case is $10 cheaper at nzxt.com with free shipping.

The H510 only comes with a single intake fan, and a single exhaust fan. A second intake fan will improve thermals, which will improve graphics card clock speeds so more performance. Worth the small extra spending.

Actually it comes with two exhaust and no intake installed.

With his build he should start with the stock and then add more if he wants.

Since he switched to a 3600, he will probably need to improve the cooling on that first.

With first-time builds it’s best to start with stock cooling and then improve if one wants.  It’s something one can easily and cheaply improve later on.
