PC restarting randomly

To start off, this PC is the first PC I have ever built. But today my problem is that my PC will randomly power down when i unplug, say i charging cord for my phone. this problem is only showing when its unplugged from the MOBO itself. Is this normal?

No it's not. I would assume the power supply is shutting it self off due to a short. Have you tried very carefully removing the plug from the motherboard without touching the case or IO shield. 

If the phone is connected somewhere internally, so not in the back but directly on the motherboard, a shutdown would be normal but should not be attempted, ever.
