Afternoon all!

This is my first post so forgive me if it's in the wrong place!

So I'm a first time PC builder and I've run into a bit of a problem. I've got all my components in place and cables linked up (as far as I can tell) correctly. However, when I turn the power on my motherboard LEDs flash white and then nothing happens. The power button does not work either despite the relevant connectors being in their corresponding spots.

I've recorded a video of this: https://streamable.com/w427bs

A friend recommended that I test my PSU to see if that was the issue, however after conducting the so called 'paperclip test' it was working just fine. I'm starting to think this is an issue with the motherboard itself. I checked the CPU socket and discovered I had a single bent pin. I bent this back into alignment yet the problem remains. I'm now at the limit of my computer know-how, hence my post!

Any further suggestions would be most welcome, as I'm starting to think I've just bought a duff motherboard and will be sending it back for replacement.

My specs are:

Motherboard:  Auros Z390 Pro WiFi

CPU:   Intel i7-9700k

CPU Cooling:  NZXT Kraken X63

RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance

GPU: Gigabyte GEFORCE RTX 2060

PSU: EVGA 850w BQ

Storage: 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD

OS: Windows 10

Case: NZXT H510 Elite

Thanks all!

Puffs
