Broadcom will be unveiling the BCM4771 GNSS SoC that would bring a more power saving yet more accurate GPS system focussed mainly toward wearables. The entire sensor hub is integrated into a small 40nm based chip. The chip is also said to be cheaper than anything on the market right now. The new chip will be unveiled at the MWC next week.
