Help With Streaming rig

Hi! I'm a newbie to streaming and looking for some help.

 

I'm Currently running a gaming rig (specs below) and am streaming directly off it on to OBS and then to twitch. Needless to say, the gaming performance is being cut down and my stream is looking like crap.

I'm considering buying an Elgato 4k card and strapping it in my old rig but I am unsure if it will be able to handle the load as I never used it for streaming.

I currently play 95% games at 1440p 144hz and am going to stream at 1080p 60fps. I also plan on linking a Sony a6000 as a webcam.

Any help or insight would be appreciated!

RAM: 16gb 2400mhz

CPU: AMD FX 8320

GPU: GTX 1060 3GB

RAM: 8gb 1600 mhz

Capture card: Elgato 4k60 (proposed)
