My microphone isn't detecting...

I just recently bought the Arctis 3 bluetooth headset. When I first put it on, the sound quality was horrible, but then I did some searching, and apparently I had to uncheck "handsfree telephony" in the sound control panel. It fixed the sound yay! Sadly, it completely disabled my microphone. I tried to check it again. It didn't work. I tried reconnecting my headset. I made it worse. I've been searching EVERYWHERE on the internet, and no one has the same problem as me.
