Borg Cube ATX Case

I only wish I was talented enough to make this, something like this is right down my alley. I almost jumped on it but saw the price.

I bet it is much easier than you think it is. It's just sheets of plastic with a pattern.

This case is really beautiful and it rocks, but the ventilation is a major issue since it's all aestethic without much functionality.

You can do the same provided you can access to multiple scrapped electronic devices.

The only piece you really need is the motherboard mount, you can get it from an old ATX case by disassembling it (or you can buy one of these bench test cases like https://amzn.to/2yEte2r )

Then you buy 4 plastic or wooden panels and you cover them in old electronic parts and once they are glued together you can paint them black or whatever colour you feel like, the Borgs have black electronics but you can go for any design you like the most.

The most important part of the project would be fan placement and led lights, since those are an important part of the borg aesthetic you can ged green leds for cheap, or if you are more adventurous you could place a couple of cold cathodes inside your case so that every slit of the case will let light escape and you will feel like there is a miniature transcurvature coil that's working inside your computer

But please don't be assimilated in the process!
