What I want to use my future pc for is to play Metro Exodus on a 1080p 60hz monitor at Ultra resolution and at 60fps. So, I want to maximize the performance of my Intel i5 9600 as much as possible. Now, I've heard a lot about cpu boost clock and have watched some videos about it. I'm wondering if my cpu will always use its boost clock speed if I use a good cpu cooler like the Noctua NH-U12 A or the be quiet Dark Rock 4 since the cpu will use its boost clock during a task if it's at a cool enough temperature. Is this true or not? Also, I don't know much about how to overclock a cpu, so I don't want to overclock mine. If anyone has any suggestions for a cpu cooler that will meet my needs, let me know.
