I'm not sure if this is the appropiate place to ask but I will ask here anyways. When my friend tries to join my Minecraft server, he gets the error io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection timed out. I find this very weird because my other friends can connect to the server just fine. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Points to Firewall as the cause.

Are you using Hamachi to let others connect to the minecraft server?

I don't think it's a firewall issue considering other players can connect. And also I did look it up on google and all I could find were results for connection refused not connection timed out.

I am not using Hamachi to allow others to connect.

Its seems your friend is having problems on their end. He/she should try connecting with a vpn and see if that works.

Yeah it was an issue with their internet connection. Thank you!
