Good to Overclock?

(Using a Hyper 212/8320) So currently at a speed of 3.7ghz (3.5ghz + amd turbo) im running 45 degrees Celsius to 56 degrees Celsius when browsing the inter web and playing BF4, I should be fine to overclock to 4ghz right?

Specs:  CPU- AMD FX 8320 @ 3.5Ghz Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 GPU -EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked  RAM- 16GB 1600MHz (4x4)  HD- Western Digital Blue Hard Drive 1TB  PSU - Corsair CX 750M Case: Corsair 300R OS-  Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Mouse: Razer Deathadder 2013 Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Edition 2013

Definitely. You should probably be shooting for ~4.4-4.5 ghz though.

4ghz is easy peasy with that chip. just watch out for voltages, mine was set too high by default.

btw the voltage is the one that decides the temp, not frequency :P

Right now my pc is at around 17 cpu usage and the cpu temp is 43 with everything still standard no oc yet, is thia normal?

Cpu-z says my voltage is around 1.330-1.344

43 as in Celcius at idle? wow that frankly is quiet hot. but Idle temp doesn't matter, what you want is to never reach 62C at FULL load.

When 2 things meet each other, Quantum stuff happens.
