Basically I would like to know if this kind of system would be required to play something like World of Warcraft on fully maxxed settings 4k Ultra.

Will this do the job? Or is it overkill?

Any opinions?

That would work but as 5x5 mentioned, that spec out is a bit over priced. The components are nice but I would expect several TB of nVme SSD storage for $3700+

I'd expect strippers and party balloons tbh

This PC will do what you want easily but its very expensive....

To play wow at 4k 60 FPS you need a GTX 1080 ti or RTX 2070 s and above.

An intel 8700k or better would suffice although I would recommend a ryzen 7 3800x

It is better to have an nvme ssd (the small things that look like a chocolate bar)  as a main drive for windows and for wow (so 1TB to have a decent headroom) preferably samsung ones cause they are more honest in terms to actual performance and what you see in the spec list so that you squeeze a little performance in things like starting the game and loading times (but your internet connection plays an important part in that as well)

I would buy a 3200mhz 16GB Gskill ram kit (no single stick 2*8GB)  of cl lower than 16  (preferably 32GB to have headroom for futureproofness) since I assume you gonna have also chrome and discord or other stuff running on a second monitor or whatnot.

and in case you go for ryzen use a x570 board the asus tuf one is best bang for the buck

Try to find a PC with those specs or build your own buying that stuff it will do what you want and the cost would be cheaper I guess... although I know that australian market is kinda lame in terms of pricing.. so good luck with that :P

Don't buy overpriced prebuilta. You're paying absurd amounts of money over what the hardware is worth. Give us a budget and location

Well sure my budget is around that amount 3700 to 3800k AUSD. Location Melbourne. What would you reccomend? Also I'm not sure I'd know how to build my own, I've never done it and would be worried about screwing it up the wrong way (literally).

Would it be better to buy parts individually and find someone to build it, would that be better then a prebuilt? Also wouldn't the warranty be worth for prebuilts or nah?

Would it be worth going to the new gen graphics cards just in case I'd want to play more newer games like Metro or RE3?

All parts come with warranties individually and getting a person to build it will saved you about 500-700 AUD

Would it be worth in which way?

The new graphics cards are going to be faster, and are going to be atleast at the same price if not more expensive and are not going to come any time soon

Would you like to wait half a year if not more in order to buy something more expensive that is faster? if yes then its worth it.

you could just buy now though and if and when you want to play a game that you are not satisfied with its performance then you could sell your GPU and buy a new one.
