My current setup is as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock P67 Pro3 SE ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Memory: Samsung 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB Mini Video Card
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 500 W ATX Power Supply

I don't game as much as I use to but I do want to get back into it. Currently waiting for Valorant to be released. Otherwise I jump between some older steam games (CS:GO, Binding of Isaac, etc). Haven't played any AAA titles in awhile strictly because my computer would burst into flames because of them. Currently the CPU is running at 4.4Ghz and the memory is single channel because one of my memory channels decided to die the other day.

So. I want to do this as budget friendly as possible. Possibly recycling the 1050ti, HDD and PSU/Case for now (Case was a empty display case for a Asus ROG prebuilt. It's very nice). I am leaning towards AMD for the build strictly price to performance aspect. The end goal is to look something like this:

Should I buy the CPU, Ram and mobo for now and save the rest for later or is this going to be overkill for what I need? Honestly 1080p gaming is fine for me.

Thanks.

Don't bother putting the 5700XT in there if you're not buying now, you can probably get a 3060 that will crush it performance wise.

I wouldn't reuse that PSU if it's from the original build. Low quality unit, on in years, two things that spell disaster.

You forgot a cooler. While the stock cooler is adequate for operation, it's far from ideal.
