HP Laptop does not display anything when switched on.

My HP Laptop does not display anything when switched ON. Fans run at full RPM.

I suspect it could be the RAM, I pulled out the existing RAM and booted the Laptop without RAM, It started to beep in 3 cycles and stopped.

I plugged the RAM back in and the beeping stopped, but the laptop does not display anything.

The beeps you heard was probably the laptop telling you it needed RAM.

Hard to diagnose without spares that you can swap in and figure it out.

If that does not work is it the motherboard then? What do you reckon?

Yeah motherboard or CPU are done I think.

I mean you could always try and reset CMOS, just to make sure that's not the problem?
