Other than that the 2600 will be a nice upgrade, so long as you already have a discrete GPU, since the 2600 does not.😁

I would update it to version 7A36v2H just to be safe. Make sure to update your chipset driver as well .

I tried updating earlier but in the M-Flash it didn't show up the files (the picture is the same as what it was like earlier)

Your USB flash drive has to be formatted as FAT32.

When you download a BIOS from the MSI website, it's a .zip file. You should extract the .zip file, and move the files to the USB flash drive. Or follow MSI's M-FLASH walkthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRyFMf0D9Lc

 

 

Definitely go with the BIOS version listed above by jctappel67. Update chipset drivers. In the end you should have an updated BIOS, new CPU, updated chipset drivers.

My USB is formatted as FAT32, I extracted the zip file and put the files on my USB.
