what you cant pair anu gpu with that laptop

The EXP GDC is a miniPCIe to PCIe adapter to hack an external GPU onto something that wouldn't normally handle one.

Seems like a pretty horrible way to go about it but I see no reason why it wouldn't work.  Its going to be very limited though as that laptop is grossly underpowered for modern games, as is the PCIe x1 interface you'd have for the GPU.

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)

Its does support PCI gen2. I could'nt find specs on offical amd site but did find this

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-A8-Series A8-4500M.html

according to it it does support PCI gen 2

What I meant was its PCIe Gen 2 x1 lane, so will still be bottlenecked to some degree.

I'm also seeing a few results online suggesting sometimes NVIDIA cards wont work on x1.

What exactly are you trying to run on it?

Can you post the link to the references you found and I am planning to run some compute like hashcat for password cracking

To be fair, it was just a random comment here

I just found this crappy video on youtube

This guy is using the Intel model of almost the same laptop and he manged to get gtx 750ti working with it. Do you think that they might have changed the pci lane allocation on the AMD version?

And i am not sure if his graphic card is bottlenecked by his CPU or by PCI lanes because he didn't show any benchmarks or in game FPS to know for sure,
