PC Audio suddenly stopped working

xjohnny3589

Not sure what happened but the audio on my pc completely stopped working all of a sudden, ive tried several fixes and i've got to the point where my input is detected and moves with the sound but still no sound is outputting

Several things ive tried:

  • Making sure all sliders are up

  • Making sure all the levels are up

  • Correct default sound device

  • update/rollback/reinstall sound device drivers

  • Tried a different wire/headphone

  • Disabling realtek front detection

  • Even bought a USB lineout just incase port was blown

The only thing I can suggest is to reinstall the BIOS/drivers which you have tried. Maybe it's to do with the audio header on the motherboard?

Stop waiting for something you want to become reality, you make your own destiny, and you will not achieve it unless you make it happen.
