Upgrading from My Current Gaming Laptop

I have a ROG GL503VS. It has the ff specs:

i7-7700HQ 

GTX 1070 

16 GB DDR4 2400MHZ RAM

240GB NVME PCIE SSD + 525GB SATA SSD 

15.6 INCH 144HZ with G-SYNC 

 

I'm planning to upgrade from that. Here are my requirements. 

 

Thin and light

Great battery life

A performance increase from my unit

A great screen

 

 

I've been eyeing the Razer Blade and MSI GS66. Any further recommendations? I have a 2000 USD budget
