Can i get some help optimising this build. I am not very experienced with parts and building so any help reducing the over spending and choosing the correct parts would be helpful.

A few concerns

RAM - i've been reading and from what i understand 3600 would be a better fit for an amd chip, if this is the case what would be the best choice for ram to match this CPU

Case - I feel like this case is a little on the expensive side but if it is worth the money i'm more than happy to invest in it, ie does it keep dust out effectively enough to justify the price?

PSU - I think it's a little overkill but i have absolutely no idea once again what to go with so i chose a part that would more than be enough. If with your expertise you can recommend a more appropriate unit that would be awesome!

Those are the main things im worried about but feel free to add or remove and change whatever you see fit. Hopefully i can have all the parts ordered tonight! =D

All right, thanks! =D

How about the rest of the build anything you would change?

I'd scrap the crappy Seagate drive and get a 1TB SSD. Hell, maybe even a 2TB one total.

And I'd also get a Dark Rock Slim CPU cooler since the 3600 is super efficient and doesn't need heavy duty cooling. If you want to maximize value, 5700XT and 3700X seeing as the 2070S is only 2% faster than the 5700XT but a lot more expensive

powercolor Radeon rx 5700 xt 8 gb red devil is this the card you're talking about it's $849 AUD compared to the 2070S which is $881 AUD which is only 3.7% more expensive, for 2% performance increase its not much of a price to pay? unless i've got the wrong card.

Is that the only 5700XT? The Red Devil is one of the highest end models so it's the most expensive. The Sapphire Pulse, MSI Mech, PowerColor Red Dragon should all be far cheaper

I am curious why you call the Seagate 2tb 7200rpm  HDD with the sata 3 6gb/s connectors "trash"?

Is it just because it's a HDD and you think HDDs aren't suitable for yourself? But cause newsflash, that doesn't make something "crappy"

That HDD is as near to the top as they come so there's no need to call it a trash HDD imo.

Okay so final build would be something like this then?

I've removed the HDD completely and only left an SSD that wont be a problem in the long run correct?

I also need a wifi connection to it since an ethernet cord is almost impossible to run all the way to my office which kind of Pcie chip would fit best and not smother the GPU on this board?
