Please help diagnose

Hey guys I’m having issues with my new pc build, I got some new parts and currently all I get is a boot loop, if I unplug all the cpu connectors then it boots but once I plug them back in it just gets stuck in a boot loop, I’ve also tried resetting cmos

 

motherboard= asrock X470 Taichi ultimate

cpu= AMD ryzen 9 3900x

ram= Corsair vengence RGB Pro 3200mhz (4x8gb)

power supply= 750w gold asus

 

the pc was used early today with my old setup but the ram the cpu and motherboard are new and gpu but that was tested and works fine, thanks in advance.

Did you update the bios before installing the 3900x? If not you need to get the latest bios version for your motherboard.

update your BIOS. By default, your x470 is not compatible with a 3900x without a BIOS update.

Wow no I didn’t do that how would I update my bios version without being able to turn it on

You can get a bios upgrade kit right through AMD.

Oh okay did some research I’ll have to get another cpu that works just to update my bios.... what a bummer
