Gaming + editing

zot3

1. Budget & Location

2500€ more if necessary - Portugal/Europe

2. Aim

Gaming, video editing (50gb projects +-)

3. Monitors

1 monitor 1440p 144hz + TV (1080p)

4. Peripherals

A keyboard, since my Corsair Strafe has key chattering and the warranty is way over.

5. Why are you upgrading?

My actual computer has 6 years and the graphics card is slowly dying (artifacts, high temps, had to replace fans).

My actual computer is:

  1. i7 4770K
  2. Asus Z87-Pro
  3. ASUS STRIX GTX 980 Ti DirectCU III OC
  4. GSkill F3-12800CL9 8GB (2x4)
  5. Corsair AX750
  6. Samsung 850 EVO 500gb + 1TB HD
  7. Corsair Obsidian 650D

Here is what I was trying to build in PcPartPicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mdLcFG (disregard the case)

I would like to know if thats ok, or if I should pick other parts. I need a power supply a case ( the PC is gonna sit below the desk, so the airflow is bad) and a 2TB hard drive for storage)

In terms of keyboards, I want a mechanical one (Reds would be ok - simple layout, no macro buttons, media keys are welcomed).

Thank you very much!

Thank you for your reply.

Is it possible to replace the power supply? All stores here don't have them in stock and they don't have a date to be available again.

About the Cooler, is an AIO better than the Noctua?

Thank you

a 280mm or 360mm will be cooler, but noisier. a 240mm or lower will be hotter and noisier.

Yes, Corsair RM 650x v2 80+ Gold. Is this ok?

Will a Corsair Hydro H115i Pro RGB be better than the Noctua?

they will be similar. the h115 will keep it a bit cooler, the noctua a bit quieter. since the noctua is half the price, i'd definitely go with it.
