GPU color errors?

Hey guys. I'm fairly tech incompetent, but I've been trying to diagnose and fix an issue I believe is stemming from my GPU. In certain games I get strange color graphics errors. I just started playing Valorant, and in that game I get colored dots all over the screen. They move around and appear/disappear as I move in game. They range from Red, blue, green and I believe white. If I press escape and bring up the menu for about 2 seconds, it corrects. In Bannerlord, on the world map, I will get entire swathes of the landscape that are out of color, either an off yellow or blue or even just pitch black. If I zoom in on an area that isn't affected and zoom back out, it's fixed. Sometimes in battle, certain aspects will be all black as well. Even typing this now, I am noticing strange areas where the black of the font is having some white graphic problems. Then some games aren't affected at all, League of Legends, never a problem. World of Warcraft too.

I have made sure everything is seated correctly.

I have tracked temps and nothing is getting too warm, my GPU fan rarely even kicks on.

I have even replaced the wiring for the GPU in case maybe it was that.

I have made sure Drivers have been updated through GeForce Experience.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (idles around 104 F, in game around the same)

Intel i7 6700k @ 4.00 GHz

G.Skill 32 GB (4 x 8GB) TridentZ Series DDR4

Corsair RM 850 Watt PSU

If anyone has any experience in this area I would greatly appreciate any input. I was just laid off due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, so I'm really hoping it isn't a sign my GPU is kicking the bucket.
