I have the Philips SHP9500s and I want to add the HM5 earcups but im wondering if I could do this without destroying the original ear pads. I also wanted to make them wireless and I found the adapter linked below. Im wondering if theres an adapter thats connect wirelessly to a usb like many logitech peripherals instead of through bluetooth. Does anyone know of such a device. Thank you.

I googled "SHP9500 HM5" and found a treasure trove of reddit threads with everything from testimonials to 'better alternatives'.
So be warned, this is all just based on the reddit threads that were the first result when I googled and my personal experience with headphones.

Yes, I would assume you could replace them without damaging the original, I've not ever found a set of headphones that damaged the earcups when removed and the reddit threads don't mention destroying anything.

While I am sure some company has made proprietary dongles that don't rely on bluetooth I don't know why you'd want a proprietary connection over the open standard. Bluetooth is probably the best option for wireless.

By any chance do you know what the HM5 pads are called. On amazon none of them are clearly labeled HM5 so im not exactly sure which one is the correct version.

They're usually just sold as replacement pads for the Brainwavz HM5.
Don't trust me but I think this is the correct listing (I could very easily be wrong)
