Ram slots dead ????

I had my motherboard for a couple of months all of a sudden all ram slots dead is this possible and what happen

Do you have multiple ram sticks? The slots work in an order so if you only have 1 stick it will only work in the mobo's first slot (can be any of them it's indicated in the manual and/or on the board). If you only have 1 stick chances are that one is causing the issues.

I had 4 ram slots 2 ram for the 4 i had the ram was not next to each other bc of duel channel so idk what caused the other ones to fail

So the 2 slots the ram was in do not work?

Correct but thats what i thought but it turns out its all of them

Clean them out with a brush I see a lot of dust in there which can easily cause connection issues.

Did you try resetting bios? Maybe some fluke accident settings screwed up.

 

Unlikely but possible perhaps the memcontroller in the cpu went out? Was the cpu oc'ed with custom voltages?
