I need mouse help

So im using an alienware aw958 mouse and when i go to create a macro for the side button when i do repeat options none i can put it on one of the side buttons but when i put it on toggle i can not put it on the side buttons itll only let me when there is no repeat options does anyone know why this may be happening?
