Hey guys:)

Exuse my bad english.

Hardware:

ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME Bios: 3602

Intel® Core i7-3960X Extreme @ 4.8Ghz

Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866MHz 32GB

EVGA + Geforce GTX 690 Running Quad-SLI

OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 SSD 240GB

OS:

Windows 7 Ultimate

Nvidia Driver 314.07

Screens:

3x BenQ4" LED XL2420T Running NVIDA-Surround

(the nvida 314.22 driver was just horrible fps drop for me)

------------------------------------------

So, to my issue:

Each time im installing new drivers from NVIDIA, if it's a Beta or a Whql Driver my computer just frezes up after the Reboot when the new driver has been installed.

and its just imposible to do stuff, like uninstalling the driver or change any settings. its a breef 10-30sec window right after i came into OS that i could maybe open up a program or move the mouse cursor.

but then it just locks up, total freeze.

To sort this problem out i had to try alot of stuff.

first i went to safe mode removed the driver and rerolled to the old driver, then i accualy got the same problem there, so wierd.

so i tryed a fresh install of windows and installed the new drivers. same comp freeze and lockup.

after alot of messing around, i tryed to remove one of my GTX 690's and install the drivers with only one of the cards in my comp.

also i need to unplug the 2 other screens. then when i install the drivers it dosen't lock up.

This is what im after, when i want a driver update i realy just want to install it > restart and continue gaming.

For me to Update drivers now i have to:

1: Remove old Drivers

2: Reboot

3: Remove the rest of the nvidia stuff sound pysx etc

4: Turn of computer

5: Remove 2 of 3 Screens plugged into Graphics Cards.

6: Remove one Graphics Card

7: Start Comp

8: Install new driver

9: Reboot

10: Turn off Computer

11: Install Second GTX 690

12: Start PC

13: Get into OS

14: Turn OFF again

15: install the SLI Bridge

16: Boot PC and Connect the 2 Screens Back.

I just came to this conclusion after trying so many different things to do.

and it just seem stupid for me to do this each time when i pay like 2000$ for 2 GTX 690's.

i've tryed several different forums, tryed to conntact nvida via bug support, no answer anywhere.

HELP Please.

I did not have this problem at ALL with my XFire 7970 Setup, but i realy like my gtx 690's cards when im not updateing drivers.

the way i write is probably bad for most people, and i know i suck at this. but hopefully i made my point and someone

can help me with this problem. thanks.
