I have a 970 Evo m.2 ssd from samsung and its been good for about 8 months until my computer got a blue screen and i had to restart my computer a few times then it worked. 5 hours later same thing but doesnt launch windows so I go into the bios and it shows my hard drive but not my ssd so i refunded it got a new one and this still doesnt work tried the other m.2 slots also and the motherboard is msi z390 meg ace and im using my hard drive for windows and everything and im realizing how much faster a ssd is than a hard drive. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Is the *NEW* Samsung 970 Evo M.2 SSD showing up in BIOS?

If it is not showing up, then the problem was maybe not the drive, but the motherboard -- the M.2 slot failed.

Have you tried using a different M.2 slot?

The new one does not show up either and yes I have tried using another slot.

It could be signs of a bad motherboard then...

Any way of testing the SSD in an enclosure, or another system?

I think it might be the motherboard because I have had a problem with it when it first arrived and now this.
