wireless hardware suggestions

So I'm looking at upgrading my wireless hardware to either n or ac. Which one would be the best bang for my Buck? Any suggestions for routers and adapters? I'd rather an internal adapter because I've got kids who like to try using the USB ones to climb up onto my chair.

Going wired isn't really possible since I have no Jack's in the room with the computer and it's a good 20-30 feet from where the router will be.

Thanks for any advise.

Yup, running 3 to 4 computers

for A router I recommend http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Archer-C7-Wireless-1350Mbps/dp/B00CUD1KJK

 

and for an adapter I say get the cheapest one with the speed you need.

 

And press the "quote" button on the boton right  of a post to reply to  it so that thee poster gets a notification
