CPU red light

I was doing a mobo swap (MSI b350m Bazooka to MSI Pro Gaming Carbon AC) when I put my ryzen 2700x in, nothing but a red cpu error lights please help

First thing to try is reseating your CPU, RAM, and GPU. I'm assuming you're talking about one of these LEDs (from your motherboard's manual). Hopefully reseating the CPU fixes it

I tried this and it didnt work, I'm now getting a blinking light next to the usbs

I meant a picture of the blinking light next to the USB. I can't tell if anything is blinking in this picture

The blinking light stopped once I put a cooler on

It just restarted and displayed something for s second then is now not showing anything, and yes

Yeah it just turned off then the machine fully posted? Is it safe to go ahead and build it?

If it posted then you should be good to go. Maybe turn it off and on a few times and see if it posts every time

Yes but now the boot option is red, is that because I don't have a drive attached

The manual says that LED "indicates the booting device is not detected or fail", so I assume so yeah. As long as you can get into the BIOS you're good
