DTS vs NVidia Audio drivers

So I am kinda experimenting with my audio setup and I want more out of my 2.1 Speaker setup. Will DTS driver help me or the default Nvidia drivers will be sufficient?

Where are your speakers connected to? What is a DTS driver? Define "want more out of your setup".
