Low GPU usage in vr

My system is a ryzen 5 2600x

a b450 micro atx mobo 

a rtx 2060

g.skill ripjaws 3200 mh 16 gb kit (overclocked to 3333 mhz and with 17 17 17 36 timings i think) 

and a 650w power supply. 

(my drive is an ssd if that matters) 

When i am in vr i mostly play blade and sorcery and pavlov, but as soon as i load into a level in B&S and spawn enemies the frame rate drops to 40-60 fps with about a ~45% gpu usage.  I started to wonder if it was a vram issue.

Any help would be appreciated.
