1st pc build

hello all hope all is well. Thanks in advance for replies and your time. 

 

I just finished building my PC today my monitor and keyboard should arrive in 2 days. I connected my PC via HDMI to my TV to see what happens. I get the following :

 

Reboot and Select proper Boot device

or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key 

 

my build is in my signature, anyone know what this means ??

you need to insert a windows or linux install flashdrive/disk

You didn't install an operating system, so your rig can't do anything past the POST screen. Insert a bootable OS install thumbdrive and you'll be able to install the os on your ssd.

ok ill keep that in mind, still waiting for usb stick to arrive so I can install windows on it.. and that should be it ??

yep you just need to use Microsoft  media creation tool
