Linux on the new Mac Pro?

I'm trying to find out of you can run Linux on the 2019 (cheese grater) Mac Pro. Any information would be much appreciated. Mint or Ubuntu distros specifically.

I've read there could be complications due to the T2 chip on other Macs.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I was hoping for dual boot with MacOS. Probably secondary then?
