samsung note 10 plus usb c issue

my note 10 + is able to charge but not able to connect to my earpieces or transfer data thru the usb c port

I have tried to wi[e cache , reset the phone , and use other gear to connect but nmothing works 

does anyone has the same issue and able to fix it ?

What cable are you using? Some cables lack the data pins to transfer, Also make sure that in settings you've set it to be able to transfer data

 

Have you tried wiggling the cable a little (GENTLY) in the port to see if you can get it to work? Have you tried a different headphone adapter? On the Samsung phones apparently you need a USB Type C adapter that has a DAC built into it, the passive types dont work on the Note 10+

What earphones are you using and in what way are they connected? And how are you trying to transfer data?

The phone comes with USB-C headphones. If those aren't working out of the box after wiping the phone then my guess is that you actually have a hardware issue and you might have to send in the phone for repairs.

If the USB-C headphones do work then there is either a software issue or you might be using a USB-C dongle that simply isn't compatible.
