Lowering webcam quality

Hey!
Tomorrow I will have an exam and our teacher demands us to use a webcam. My question is: is it possible to lower my webcam quality to s**t and make it lag like hell? I have a Thinkpad 540p, and it's webcam has a very decent quality.
Also, we will be writing the exam through Microsoft Teams. (We will write on a blank paper, and the teacher will look at us trough the webcam)
