I dont know if this is a problem for this forum or the CPU,Memory,Motherboard forum but I'll post it on both.

I changed my CPU cooler 1 month ago to a Cryorig H7 because I wanted better temps and noise levels. I did not change the fan curve but because of it being to noisy when the cpu hit 55 C I went in the Apcent (Gigabytes Command Center)

and changed the fan curve. As I excited it didnt do anything even if I had applied the fan curve. I then entered the program again changed it an it applied perfectly. The next day , as I went to open my computer my fan curve had reseted. I changed to normal both the apcent settings and the bios settings so that I could do the fan curve by bios which in my opinion is better and still no luck!! The fan curves keeps reseting it self back to the gigabytes settings when I boot. The only thing I can imagine is because I havent updated the bios nor the chipset it keeps reseting. I am about to upgrade the chipset drivers but I want anyone who can help to aid me because I dont know what to do (Right now I have changed the bios and the apcent settings and it seems like it has kept the apcent settings however if I turn on the program again then it will automatically reset to the normal fan curve.

Try updating to latest version of BIOS. If you have latest version or that doesn't work, try applying settings directly from BIOS (as software can be buggy). If you are having overall resets in settings, its probably CMOS battery running out.

There are also couple 3rd party control software if everything else fails. Or if you have older mobo, you can just use Speedfan.
