I'm looking for a budget graphics card to go with my future PC, which is currently sitting around £380 with a Ryzen 5 2600 (could change to a 1600AF) and 16GB RAM.

My ideal spend for this would be around £150, but could stretch to probably £170.

I'd also like to not use too much power, as I heard somewhere that the AMD Radeon RX 570 uses twice the power of the GTX 1050Ti.

I'm going with a 500W PSU (probably). Adding on to this, I'm using 2 monitors, one HDMI and one DVI (I know it's outdated), but I do have a spare DVI to HDMI adapter lying around so that can change.

Please note: I am a new builder and have never built a PC before.

i dont know how much more stuff costs over yonder,

but id look in the 1650 ti to 1660 super range, or 580 - 590 8gb

500w psu is fine for all these

also 570 is ~120W and 1050 ti is ~75W from 2 sec of googling. both still small and well within capacity of 500w psu

1650 super o used rx 580 8gb

1650 super is faster than rx 580 8b in some games generally. But the rx 580 8gb has more vram, so it will run better than the 1650 super in: higher resolutions, higher hz, higer quality, modern games

So, new 4GB 1650s start from £150, but I can get a 2nd hand RX580 8GB for around £90-£110. However, 2nd hand 1650s (4GB) are around the same price as that. A new Rx580 would not be much more than a new gtx 1650. The 2 cheapest 580s I've found are this MSI one and XFX one.

Well the two cards performance are kinda comparable, if you are tight on the PSU choice I would go with the 1650S as it is much more energy efficient - the RX580 sometimes draws more than 300W when under gaming load.
