About a month ago I built a whole new PC for the first time in about a billion years after binging hours of (among other various, less charismatic youtubers for more specific comparisons) LTT videos to make a few decisions. Parts arrive, put the PC together while actually minding cable management this time, looks nice and pretty on my desk, works great. Getting massively improved performance over my old frankenstein monster. Everything's just peachy, but I find a lot of the time I'm floating juuuuuuust under 144 frames per second on a couple of my games. I overclocked the video card a bit and got a couple of extra frames from that, but I decided I needed that last kick of performance from overclocking my CPU.

And herein lies the problem: I boot my PC, but by the time my monitor powers on, my PC has already loaded Windows. I looked up the bios key for my mobo (F2) and held it down as I power on, but that basically accomplishes nothing. I tried turning off the "fast startup" option in Windows, but, alack, no real changes.

I even tried holding shift when selecting "Shut Down" from the start menu, and selecting the "Force UEFI" option, but from there it hangs on a screen with little information on it until I force a restart.. I can't remember what was on the screen at that time, but I will replicate it if you think it will help.

Relevant hardware information:
Mobo: ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 (BIOS Ver. P2.20)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
