Network Issues in Games

My friend has the connectivity issues with almost every online game he plays. The problem is, he suddenly gets disconnected and is kicked out of the session, even though he is still speaking with me on Discord, without lags or "robo-voice."

This happens to him all the time in games and apps like: UNO, Hearts of Iron 4, World War Z, Parsec, Monopoly Plus. He does not have the issue with Rainbow Six Siege and The Division 2. He is on Desktop PC with a wired connection. 

 

I know this is a general question and there could be many reasons for this to happen, but any suggestion helps.

Does anybody else on the network experience similar issues?

 

Does he have another computer he could use as a comparison?

 

Sometimes there are obscure issues with Windows where the only easy fix is a complete OS re-install but if it's avoidable we'll avoid it.
