Java won't install.

Windows 10 Home 64 bit version 1903 OS build 18362.720

Ryzen 5 2400G

 

I had Java on my PC and I believe it was working. I tried to run the Arduino IDE the other day & it failed to initialize Java.

I tried downloading & installing the newest version from https://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

 

It failed to install saying it already existed so I went to my C:/ and deleted all the java files to try again.

It starts the download and gets to the end saying error 1603 which is currently unresolved.

I was curious if anyone had any ideas on how to get Java to work? Maybe I'm downloading an incorrect version or something? I tried both Windows Online & Windows Offline from the first link.

 

I have a JDK installed.

 

I restarted my PC, shut down, uninstalled, deleted, reinstalled, fresh installed... everything.

And this is why you don't uninstall apps by removing files. See if you can still uninstall Java properly
