Does anyone know where I could either send in my faulty RTX 2080ti to get the memory swapped out or order memory modules to replace them myself? I am currently experiencing artifacts when my graphics card exceeds 60 C. It makes all of the scenery look like spikes are jutting from everything then crashes my programs. I have yet for the card to actually crash the computer as a whole. I have some experience with working on pcbs, chips, and soldering, but i am far from a professional. I just want to be able to use my card again rather than having an expensive paper weight. I have an AUROS Extreme RTX 2080ti. I replaced the air cooler on the card with a waterblock to improve the temps on the card since my gaming room is not well insulated and gets hot in the summer. I attempted to send it back to Gigabyte for an RMA, but they refused to fix the card or attempt to help in any way.

If you're in the US, just put the card back to how it came (i.e. with air cooler and thermal paste) and RMA as if you didnt do anything weird to it. Otherwise, you're screwed as GDDR6 has way too many contacts for someone not a pro to solder. Should RMA before you swap the cooler and break the warranty void sticker

BGA is very difficult, plus you really need the right equipment. That said, in normal times you should be able to get the VRAM of places like Aliexpress but there is no guarantee that the chips are authentic and are within spec (could be manufacturing failures or untested recycled). Second option is to buy a dead card for parts and hope that the death cause was not due to the VRAM or took the VRAM out.
